Public Hearing Update: Planned public hearings on the proposed update to the St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center Campus Master Plan have been removed from the Boise City Council’s April 7 and 14 regular meeting agendas.
Instead, council members will hear and discuss potential revisions to St. Luke’s application at its regular 6 p.m. meeting on April 14. The revisions, brought forward by St. Luke’s on March 30, are designed to address concerns of impacted neighbors and the Boise City Planning and Zoning Commission, which recommended that the council deny the application on Feb. 9. The Council also will explore alternative options for addressing connectivity and transportation concerns voiced by residents.
The April 14 workshop will be part of the council’s regular open, public meeting – though no public testimony will be taken. Its purpose is to ensure consideration of the St. Luke’s application includes the most up-to-date information about the potential project plans – giving council members and the public every opportunity to understand it in its entirety. For those unable to attend, the meeting will be streamed online at http://boisecityid.iqm2.com.
Council members will not make a determination on the application at the workshop and no testimony from the general public will be taken. Plans for continued public discussion of the application, including opportunities for public comment, will be announced after the April 14 meeting.
